lyrics

1980 something/ opening my eyes to the light/
Serendipitous by nature, interchangeable sights/
Evolutionary steps with my feet in the dirt/
And realizing that my writing simply needed to work/
No choice but to grow up at incredible rates/
And my experiences early on determined my age/
Discussed by many as ahead of my time/
I keep my watch at my back as I'm walking the line/
I've never been part of anything great/
Just everyday mistakes that are up for debate/
I'm motivated daily by the seasons that change/
It's all depicted in the storylines I choose to create/
It's written on the time clock, no chance to leave work/
I've seen my mind rot over these diseased words/
The jury can accommodate the assholes/
Consider it a holiday if my eyes close/
From here on you'll work without the benefits/
Trying to capture brilliance from studying my rhetoric/
Cancel everything you're presently involved/
With the person that you wished was never let into the ball/
Party crash etiquette, tougher than the sediment/
Deep within the earth and held accountable for wrecking shit/
Calibrated to erase all of your memories/
Involving future episodes with hostile celebrities.

Life is a beautiful path/
I'd never call her a bitch, too afraid of her wrath/
Death is a noisy neighbor/
Drinking all night with his boys in the basement.

The moderation flips like a skateboard,
Kingdoms will crumble as revolutions take force,
I’m making all the general objections,
Ceremonies mastered by your federal protection,
Atop the pyramid lives a simple puritan,
Picking off the carnivores in shooting range tournaments,
The bullseye is modeled after criminals,
Too innate to demonstrate their crimes as subliminal,
I may get close enough to witness desperate measures,
But far enough away from all your business endeavors,
I can’t agree to be a seed that never sees the light,
It had to be the single thing that fueled my need to fight,
How far can the imitation really go?
Before its glorified dishonesty in videos,
I’m marking this event as the commencement,
Of temporary gossip and a transitory friendship,
Your popular amenities are counterfeit,
Honestly you never gained respect on account of this,
I’ve seen it happen many times before,
When the product of success is a back stabbing whore,
So please excuse my vulgar terminology,
But don’t expect this piece to turn into apologies,
It’s just a simple way to sever all the ties,
And wear them on my neck to your party in disguise.

Life is a beautiful path/
I'd never call her a bitch, too afraid of her wrath/
Death is a noisy neighbor/
Drinking all night with his boys in the basement.
